These photos were sent to me as sketch samples around 1964 by General Motors.

Gary Smith, Cadillac Studio, 1987.

Bill Porter roughed out these two pencil sketches in the studio one day. I was so taken with them that I photocopied them when he wasn’t looking. Early ’80s.

Nowadays we have too much I.A. sketches blueprint car design and less human briliant ideas…Dear Dean thanks for your efforts…Maybe all we return to Clay modelling and charcoal paperback drawings…
