7/6/2010. There are always mid-years at car shows. I struck up a conversation with an owner who told me that the front was an American Custom Industry (ACI) replacement. It looked pretty good. I ordered a new one-piece front, inner fenders, hood, and rear valence from ACI. I was pretty excited when the parts arrived. Little did I realize the mistake I had made and the time it would take to fix. I now know what I should have done. More on that later. More detail shots showing the damage to the gas filler area of the body. Whoever did this went for cheap instead of getting a replacement gas filler door. This proved difficult to repair because of its location and the sensitive body forms.
