6/27/2016 part 2. Notice detail shots of the way the roll bar comes apart. I covered the frame with aluminum foil thinking that would be a good idea to protect the finished chassis from paint overspray. Bad idea. It just ended up being in the way. As if getting the body worked around the frame with the non-removable valence wasn’t difficult enough, I added to the problem by also having to add the roll bar frame mount. Several things I could have done to make the assembly easier included enlarging the holes in the frame support to have more wiggle room. The bolts sticking up through the holes in the frame are welded to square blocks to keep them from rotating while tightening. They are kept from falling through with serrated retainers. Working the roll bar frame supports up through the frame was tedious.
